Ripe wheat field at late afternoon

Specialist global milling placements

A generalist cannot assess a head miller in any country.

Temper, break release, ash rise. That gap is the same in Melbourne, Manchester, Minneapolis, Lagos or Karachi. That gap is why this firm exists.

Wheat in. Flour out. We recruit the people who hold that line — worldwide.

The process

Two doors. Same miller screen.

Applicants and flour mills walk a different path. The screen does not change by country — only wheat, scale, language and visa do.

What we do

Not CVs. A screen, a map, and a miller who can hold ER on this wheat.

01

A miller screen that travels

The same parameter-level screen in every country: flowsheet, temper, break release, ER, ash, night-shift command. A mill in a second country can shortlist without re-testing literacy.

02

A map of roller-mill seats

Commercial mills by region, mill rate, wheat class, night-shift language and who holds command. Coverage by region. The brand is one.

03

Mobility for screened millers

Legal, named, family-honest. Visa class, night-shift language and scale translated before anyone gets on a plane.

Function, not title

From wheat reception to packing — and the grain roles that feed a mill.

Position map

Theatre

Worldwide. One brand. Coverage by region.

A region with no mill map is a colour on a website. We do not claim it. Global is the theatre. Milling is the business.

Where we work

ANZ

Australian and New Zealand commercial roller mills — independents and multi-site groups. Regional plus inbound skilled millers.

UK, Ireland & EU

UK Flour Millers members and EU roller mills. NABIM-dense talent; outbound and inbound.

North America

US and Canadian multi-site milling groups. Local-hire heavy; inbound is slow and must be honest.

MENA & Africa

Large commercial mills and new-build projects. Inbound millers and commissioning are common.

South & SE Asia

High-capacity commercial mills and OEM projects. Local millers plus project millers.

Latin America

National mill groups and project work. Language of the night shift is the gate.

Operating rules

If we cannot technically screen the role, we do not take the brief.

One screen, every country

Flowsheet, temper, ER, ash, scale and night-shift language. Country of origin does not reduce the screen. A well-spoken candidate can still fail it.

Scale and wheat are translated

20 TPD is not 200 TPD is not 800 TPD. AH/APW is not DNS/HRW is not Group 1 UK. Stone-mill years are labelled, never sold as roller-mill command.

Flour milling only

Not FMCG. Not feed mill sold as flour mill. Not bakery production. Adjacent grain roles only when they serve a mill.

Honest mobility

If the only path is a false occupation story, we walk away. Night-shift language is tested, not self-scored. Dual-career households are asked about before flights.

Sales method

Place with us. The miller gets Mill Assistant, free.

Mill Assistant speaks the same language as the screen: extraction, ash, roll gaps, purifiers, sifters, tempering and wheat classes worldwide. Public users get a trial. People who work with Global Milling Careers get it free.

  • Parameter-level diagnosis

Roll gaps, purifiers, sifters, tempering — root-cause in mill language, not generic plant advice.

  • Extraction & ash

Low ER, high ash, bran leakage, over-grinding. The same tests we use on a miller screen.

  • Wheat classes worldwide

Australian, US, EU and durum. Built for a global mill, not one origin.

  • On the mill, on the phone

Mobile-first. Used by millers on nights — not by HR.

Public trial exists on their site. Careers clients and represented millers get ongoing access through us.

5,000+ people in this small profession. Looking, or quietly open.

Night-shift command is the scarce skill, not daytime attendance. We talk to millers, quality, buyers, test bakers and commissioning people who will take a call in their time zone.

See how it works

First call on a vacancy is the head miller or plant manager. HR does award, medical, contract and immigration paperwork.
